Short Biography
Nicolas Piron completed his Master’s degree at the University of Geneva in Pr. Patrik Vuilleumier’s lab, where he studied the role of the pulvinar, a higher-order thalamic nucleus, in visual attention. During this period, he also collaborated with Dr. Nicolas Burra as a teaching and research assistant on developing a pipeline for analyzing simultaneous EEG recordings in interacting individuals. He is currently pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Pr. Sophie Schwartz and Pr. Nina Kazanina in Geneva, focusing on the detection of offline memory reactivations and the temporal evolution of mnemonic representations using MEG.
