Short Biography
Alicia Milloz completed her master’s degree at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), where she specialized in Neuroengineering. During her master’s thesis, she developed a method to characterize hemispheric asymmetry in spatial patterns of cortical maps—derived from tau-PET, fMRI, and beyond, creating a new laterality index. She is currently pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Virginie Sterpenich, investigating memory replay in hippocampal-cortical circuits during sleep using high-resolution fMRI.
